Fire Safety Certificate

Products with increased fire hazard must be examined and tested in advance by experts. The focus here is on testing the resistance of the materials to fire, the functional safety of equipment and the possibility of the formation of toxic gases.

In particular, the following product types are subject to fire safety certification:

• building materials, such as cable and lift shafts or doors and windows;
• equipment for fire brigades and fire protection;
• materials, such as plastics, floor coverings;
• electrical appliances, for example telephones and household appliances.
  

The product types affected by the fire safety certification are subject to constant reclassification by the Russian regulatory authority in the course of technical progress.
