Test samples<\/a> are representative product specimens provided for technical testing and conformity assessment<\/a> procedures. Within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU<\/a>), test samples<\/a> form the basis for laboratory testing and safety evaluations required for EAC<\/a> certification. The quality and representativeness of the test samples<\/a> directly influence the validity of test results and therefore the entire certification process.<\/p>\n

Particularly for safety-critical products such as machinery, electrical equipment, pressure equipment or explosion-protected systems, extensive testing programs are common.<\/p>\n

Test samples<\/a> are typically used for safety testing, EMC testing, material testing<\/a>, pressure testing<\/a>, functional testing and environmental testing procedures. The testing is carried out by accredited laboratories whose test reports later become part of the technical documentation<\/a> and form the basis for certification decisions.<\/p>\n

An important practical aspect is the importation of test samples<\/a> into the EAEU<\/a>. Customs documents, product descriptions and classification according to TN VED customs codes must be correctly prepared to ensure smooth delivery of the samples to the accredited laboratory. Incorrect customs processing is one of the most common causes of delays in international certification projects.<\/p>\n

In practice, unsuitable test samples<\/a>, incomplete technical documentation<\/a> or products that differ from serial production frequently result in repeated testing procedures and additional costs. Early coordination with testing laboratories and certification bodies is therefore highly important.<\/p>\n
