Today, it remains in force within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2669\" data-end=\"2997\">The products concerned include <strong>pressure vessels, pipelines, valves, safety devices and other pressure equipment<\/strong>, often used in high-risk industrial facilities. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easygost.com\/en\/eac-certification\/\">EAC Certification or Declaration<\/a> under TR CU 032 is mandatory to legally place such products on the EAEU market and operate them without issues with inspection authorities.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\" important criteria for determining whether <strong data-start=\"831\" data-end=\"852\">EAC Certification<\/strong> or <strong data-start=\"856\" data-end=\"875\">EAC Declaration<\/strong> is required under TR CU 032 is the <strong data-start=\"911\" data-end=\"949\">category of the pressure equipment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"954\" data-end=\"1038\">The categories range from <strong data-start=\"980\" data-end=\"1005\">Category 1 <\/strong>(low risk) to <strong data-start=\"1009\" data-end=\"1035\">Category 4 <\/strong>(high risk):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1042\" data-end=\"1133\"><strong data-start=\"1042\" data-end=\"1058\">Category 1\u20132<\/strong> \u2192 subject to conformity assessment in the form of an <strong data-start=\"1112\" data-end=\"1131\">EAC Declaration<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1042\" data-end=\"1133\"><strong data-start=\"1136\" data-end=\"1152\">Category 3\u20134<\/strong> \u2192 subject to conformity assessment in the form of an <strong data-start=\"1206\" data-end=\"1227\">EAC Certification<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"1236\" data-end=\"1279\">Parameters for Category Determination<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1281\" data-end=\"1371\">To determine the category according to TR CU 032, the following information is required:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Volume or diameter<\/li>\n<li>Operating temperature<\/li>\n<li>Maximum allowable working pressure (or design pressure, if operating pressure is not defined)<\/li>\n<li>Working medium<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After determining the category, the <strong data-start=\"1576\" data-end=\"1591\">fluid group<\/strong> must also be established:<\/p>\n<p>If pressure equipment is operated with different working media, the most dangerous medium must be selected. TR CU 032\/2013 divides the environment into two groups:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong data-start=\"1623\" data-end=\"1635\">Group 1:<\/strong> Flammable, oxidising, combustible, explosive, toxic and highly toxic gases, liquids and vapours in a single phase, including mixtures<\/li>\n<li><strong data-start=\"1774\" data-end=\"1786\">Group 2:<\/strong> All other media not belonging to Group devices and pressure relief equipment<\/strong> are generally classified as <strong data-start=\"922\" data-end=\"936\">Category 4<\/strong> under <strong data-start=\"943\" data-end=\"956\">TR CU 032<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>An exception applies to safety devices that are specifically designed and manufactured for a particular piece of pressure equipment \u2013 in such cases, they may be classified in the <strong>same category as the equipment they protect<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In short:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>standard safety valves = Category 4<\/li>\n<li>equipment-specific safety devices = same category as the equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The categories of pressure equipment according to <strong data-start=\"746\" data-end=\"776\">TR CU 032 (Categories 1\u20134)<\/strong> correspond directly to the categories of the European Pressure Equipment Directive<strong data-start=\"822\" data-end=\"898\"> (PED) 2014\/68\/EU (Categories I\u2013IV)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>According to TR CU 032, pressure equipment that falls under <strong data-start=\"965\" data-end=\"1009\">\u201cGood Engineering Practice\u201d (Category 0)<\/strong> according to the PED Directive 2014\/68\/EU is <strong data-start=\"1055\" data-end=\"1110\">not subject to EAC Declaration or EAC Certification<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Equipment not covered by TR CU 032\/2013 (EAC PED)<\/h2>\n<p>The <strong data-start=\"415\" data-end=\"454\">Technical Regulation TR CU 032\/2013<\/strong> does <strong data-start=\"460\" data-end=\"473\">not apply<\/strong> to the following
