Official EAEU database listing accredited certification bodies and testing laboratories.

Accredited Testing Laboratory


A facility officially recognized by the EAEU to perform testing in accordance with applicable Technical Regulations.

Applicant (also: Declarant, Authorized Representative)


A legal entity established within the EAEU that assumes full legal responsibility for EAC certification or EAC declaration procedures.

Who is the applicant for EAC certification?
The applicant is an EAEU-based legal entity responsible for certification or declaration.

Can a foreign manufacturer be the applicant?
No. Manufacturers outside the EAEU must appoint an authorized representative or importer within the EAEU.

Audit


A systematic, planned and documented assessment of production processes, quality management systems and technical documentation within EAC conformity assessment. Not equivalent to inspection control.

What is an audit in EAC certification?
An audit is a structured assessment of manufacturing and quality systems.

When is an audit required?
Audits are typically required for serial production certification.
