Product Compliance

Product Compliance refers to the verified conformity of a product with all applicable legal, technical, and regulatory requirements. Within the framework of the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Product Compliance is a fundamental requirement for EAC Certification, EAC Declaration procedures, and lawful market access in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan.

The Technical Regulations of the EAEU (TR EAEU / TR CU) establish product-specific requirements regarding safety, quality, marking, documentation, and technical performance. Manufacturers, importers, and Authorized Representatives must demonstrate that their products comply with all applicable regulations.

Product Compliance is typically demonstrated through:

Depending on the product category, additional requirements may include EMC testing, pressure testing, material analysis, type examination, or explosion protection assessments.

Product Compliance covers the entire product lifecycle. In addition to technical design, it includes manufacturing processes, product marking, packaging, documentation, and market surveillance requirements. Certification alone does not remove the manufacturer’s ongoing responsibility for maintaining compliance.

Missing test reports, incomplete Technical Documentation, incorrect product marking, and improper product classification are among the most common causes of compliance issues within the EAEU.

For manufacturers and exporters, Product Compliance is not only a regulatory obligation but also an important factor in product safety, liability management, and long-term market access.

We support manufacturers, exporters, and importers in evaluating, documenting, and implementing Product Compliance requirements throughout the Eurasian Economic Union, helping companies reduce regulatory risks and streamline certification procedures.
