Quality Management System

A Quality Management System (QMS) is the structured organization of all processes and measures used by a company to ensure consistent product quality, safety and regulatory compliance. For exports to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), a Quality Management System plays a central role, particularly in serial production certification and long-term EAC certification projects.

The Eurasian Economic Union includes Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. Within this common market, many Technical Regulations of the EAEU (TR EAEU / TR CU) require manufacturers to maintain documented and controlled quality processes. The objective is to ensure that not only individual test samples but also continuous serial production permanently complies with applicable regulatory requirements.

A Quality Management System includes production processes, testing procedures, document control, material inspections, traceability systems, defect prevention and internal control and improvement measures. Effective quality management is particularly important for safety-related products such as machinery, pressure equipment, electrical systems and explosion-protected devices.

Many certification schemes are based on internationally recognized standards such as ISO 9001 or equivalent GOST standards. During EAC certification procedures, accredited certification bodies frequently evaluate whether the manufacturer has implemented suitable quality management processes and whether these processes are effectively maintained in practice.

The evaluation of the Quality Management System is often performed through audits or factory production control procedures. Certification bodies analyze manufacturing processes, quality inspections, testing procedures, organizational structures and handling of deviations and complaints. For serial production certification, the QMS is additionally reviewed during regular production surveillance procedures.

An effective Quality Management System not only reduces regulatory risks but also improves stability and traceability within international supply chains. At the same time, it facilitates successful inspection controls and certification audits within the EAEU.

In practice, incomplete process documentation, missing traceability systems, undocumented production changes and insufficient internal testing procedures are among the most common causes of findings during audits and production surveillance activities.

We support manufacturers and exporters in the development, preparation and regulatory evaluation of Quality Management Systems for EAC certification within the EAEU. Our services include audit preparation, technical documentation, process evaluation, production surveillance and coordination with accredited certification bodies. This helps companies secure stable and legally compliant long-term market access throughout the Eurasian Economic Union.
