Testing Laboratory
A Testing Laboratory is a technical facility that evaluates products, materials, and components to determine their compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements. Within the EAC certification process, Testing Laboratories play a crucial role by performing the tests required for EAC Certificates, EAC Declarations, and other conformity assessment procedures.
Many products intended for the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) must undergo testing before they can be placed on the market. Testing requirements are defined by the applicable Technical Regulations of the EAEU (TR EAEU / TR CU) and may include electrical, mechanical, chemical, thermal, or safety-related assessments.
Testing Laboratories commonly perform:
- product testing,
- EMC testing,
- pressure testing,
- material testing,
- type examination,
- explosion protection testing,
- and other product-specific assessments.
Test results are documented in official test reports and serve as the basis for conformity assessments conducted by Certification Bodies.
Selecting the appropriate Testing Laboratory is critical for the efficiency and success of a certification project. Incomplete testing or non-recognized test evidence may result in delays, additional costs, or certification issues.
We support manufacturers and exporters in selecting qualified Testing Laboratories, coordinating testing activities, and preparing all technical documentation required for EAC certification procedures.
