Accredited Testing Laboratory
An accredited testing laboratory is an officially recognized laboratory within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) authorized to perform product testing in accordance with the Technical Regulations of the EAEU (TR EAEU / TR CU). Only test reports issued by accredited laboratories are accepted within the EAC certification and EAC declaration process. For manufacturers and exporters, selecting the correct laboratory is therefore essential for successful market access to Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.
Accreditation confirms the technical competence, independence and testing capabilities of the laboratory. Each accredited testing laboratory operates within a clearly defined scope of accreditation listed in the official EAEU accreditation register. This scope specifies which product categories, technical regulations and testing methods the laboratory is authorized to handle. Testing is typically performed according to applicable GOST standards and other harmonized EAEU regulations.
Accredited laboratories play a central role in EAC conformity assessment procedures. Depending on the product type, laboratories may perform electrical safety testing, EMC testing, pressure testing or explosion protection testing. In practice, using a laboratory without the required accreditation often results in rejected test reports, certification delays and additional costs caused by repeated testing procedures.
