Test Report
A test report is the official technical document issued by an accredited testing laboratory that records the performed tests, applied testing methods and achieved measurement results. Within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the test report is one of the most important documents in EAC conformity assessment procedures and frequently serves as the primary basis for issuing an EAC Certificate or registering an EAC Declaration.
The Eurasian Economic Union includes Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. For many product categories, the Technical Regulations of the EAEU (TR EAEU / TR CU) require mandatory laboratory testing. The results of these tests are documented in standardized test reports and subsequently evaluated by certification bodies during conformity assessment procedures.
A test report typically includes information about test samples, applied testing methods, testing conditions, measurement results, referenced standards and conformity evaluations. Depending on the product category, test reports may document electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), pressure resistance, material properties, explosion protection, temperature behavior or mechanical strength.
