Type Examination Certificate
A Type Examination Certificate is an official document confirming that a tested product sample complies with the requirements of the applicable Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). It is issued following a successful Type Examination and often serves as a key element of EAC conformity assessment procedures.
During a Type Examination, a representative sample of the product is tested and evaluated. The resulting Type Examination Certificate confirms that the tested sample meets all applicable safety and compliance requirements.
Type Examination Certificates are commonly used for:
- machinery,
- electrical equipment,
- pressure equipment,
- explosion-protected products,
- and other safety-critical product categories.
The certificate is issued based on testing results, Technical Documentation, and the requirements of the relevant Technical Regulation.
