Verification Procedure
A Verification Procedure refers to the systematic review and confirmation that a product, technical documentation or manufacturing process actually complies with the applicable requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Within EAC certification procedures, verification procedures are used to confirm regulatory compliance and ensure legally compliant market access throughout the EAEU.
The Eurasian Economic Union includes Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. Within this common market, the Technical Regulations of the EAEU (TR EAEU / TR CU) require different verification procedures for products, technical evidence and manufacturing conditions.
Verification procedures are a central part of conformity assessment and may include, depending on the product category and certification scheme:
- document review,
- evaluation of Technical Documentation,
- verification of test reports,
- comparison with applicable GOST standards,
- verification of Safety Justifications,
- risk assessment review,
- evaluation of manufacturing conditions,
- quality management system audits,
- as well as recurring inspection controls for serial production certification.
During the verification procedure, the accredited certification body evaluates whether the submitted documents are complete, technically consistent and regulatorily compliant. In addition, the certification body verifies whether the results issued by accredited testing laboratories comply with the applicable Technical Regulations.
Verification procedures are particularly important for machinery, industrial systems, pressure equipment, electrical products, explosion-protected equipment and other safety-critical product categories.
Insufficient or incorrect verification may result in serious consequences, including:
- certification delays,
- additional testing requirements,
- regulatory findings,
- suspension of certificates,
- or rejection of goods at the border.
Verification procedures are also closely connected to Technical Documentation, Technical Files, test reports, Safety Justifications and production surveillance. All regulatory evidence must remain technically and formally consistent.
In practice, professional preparation of verification procedures is essential for efficient certification processes and reliable exports to the EAEU.
We support manufacturers and exporters in the complete preparation and coordination of verification procedures within the Eurasian Economic Union. Our services include technical documentation, regulatory review, coordination with accredited certification bodies, testing coordination and professional translation of all relevant documentation. This ensures legally compliant, efficient and reliable market access throughout the EAEU.
